Judy faience toby jug produced by Desvres circa 1900. From the popular English puppet show Punch and Judy Judy asks Punch for help with their baby and generally tries to keep him out of trouble. She is holding her stick in her left hand which she sometimes uses to keep things under control. Modeled after the similar Staffordshire design she is marked TSL 1750.
