Judy character jug produced by Bairstow Manor Pottery of Hanley, England, circa 1995. From the popular English puppet show Punch and Judy, Judy is the wife of Punch. She asks Punch for help with their baby and generally tries to keep him out of trouble. Using William Kent's original molds, this Judy character jug is a reproduction of the William Kent Judy character jug from the early 1900s.
