Jolly Roger character jug - Harkers Pottery circa 1960

Jolly Roger character jug in Rockingham finish produced by Harkers Pottery of Chester, West Virginia, circa 1960. Jolly Roger was a vile pirate who operated in the Caribbean. He was an infamous pirate captain with a bad temper and a thirst for power. Whatever happened beneath the weight of his cruel ambition, Jolly Roger would crush anyone in his path to become absolute ruler of the Caribbean by any means.
