Jolly Fellow small Redlan advertising character jug produced by Sarreguemines of Lorraine, France circa 1905, model number 3181 4. One of a series of jugs called grotesques in the Sarreguemines factory documentation. Commissioned by William Greer & Company of Glasgow, Scotland, this is an advertising jug for Greer's Redlan whisky.
