Jolly Fellow majolica character jug produced by Fielding & Company of Stoke-on-Trent, England ,circa 1915. This jug depicts a jolly fellow with a big smile. This design is similar to the Jolly Fellow character jug produced by Sarreguemines of France circa 1900. This Jolly Fellow character jug is an advertising piece for Mitchell's Old Irish Whisky. Note the model number 85 impressed on the base.
