Johnnie Walker toby jug designed by Percy Metcalfe and produced by Ashtead Potteries of Surrey, England, in a 1926 limited edition. Johnnie Walker is a brand of Scotch whisky produced by Diageo in Scotland. It originated in the Scottish burgh of Kilmarnock in East Ayrshire. The brand was first established by grocer John Walker. Today it is the world's highest selling Scotch whisky, being sold in almost every country. Johnnie Walker's logo has always revolved around the legendary Striding Man, an Edwardian dandy who "keeps walking." The English registration number 720295 indicates this deisgn was registered in 1926. This jug is number 46 in the limited edition.
