John Bull toby jug produced by Bairstow Manor Pottery of Hanley, England, circa 1995. Created by Dr. John Arbuthnot in 1712, John Bull is the national personification of Great Britain. He is holding a piece of paper in his left hand with Budget written across the top, a political statement for the British government perhaps? Using William Kent's original molds, this John Bull toby jug is a reproduction of the William Kent John Bull toby jug from the early 1900s.
