Jester figurine produced in a Prattware finish in England circa 1800. This standing Jester figurine is holding a large pipe with a gentleman's head to his mouth and taking a long draw of his favorite tobacco. Out of the Jester's back comes a stem, making this figurine a fully functional pipe itself. The Prattware finish is underglaze metallic oxides that have distinctive bright colors of yellows, blues and browns, typically associated with William Pratt of Fenton.
