Honest Measure toby jug tiny - Royal Doulton 1994

Honest Measure tiny toby jug designed by William K. Harper and produced by Royal Doulton of Burslem, England, in a 1994 limited edition of 2,500 for Lawleys by Post. "Honest Measure - Drink at Leisure" runs the inscription on this jug and this Toby evidently intends to live up to it. This jug is a direct copy of Harry Simeon's 1920 stoneware ink well and preserves pot, which in turn, were inspired by the Squat Tobies of the 19th Century.
