Haymaker character jug Guild - Tony Wood Studio 1991

Haymaker character jug produced by Tony Wood of Fenton, England, in 1991 in a limited edition for Scottish Direct for the Guild of Wood Pottery Collectors. A haymaker is a farm worker who harvests grasses and dries them for animal feed. After cutting, drying, and curing, the haymaker bales the hay, rolling it into bundles that can easily be moved and stored.
