Harrod's Doorman character jug produced by Carlton Ware of Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 1960 as a promotional piece for Harrod's Department Store. Everyone is familiar with Harrods's legendary green doormen who have been beacons of luxury standing at every single door of the store for over 100 years. The friendly smile as you walk through the door, the "see you soon!" as you head home; Harrod's legendary Green Men are so much more than doormen. They are considered the face of the company.
