American Toby Jug Museum 

Happy John large toby jug produced by Royal Doulton of Burslem, England, circa 1960. Happy John is an Ordinary Toby jug featuring a common man of the time wearing 18th century clothing and a tricorn hat. He is sitting on a high-backed chair holding an overflowing pitcher of ale in his left hand and full cup of ale in his right. The jug is also incised on the bottom with 8321.
