Grasshopper toby jug - Saint-Clement circa 1905

Grasshopper majolica toby jug produced by Saint-Clement of France circa 1905. This well camouflaged grasshopper is waiting quietly in the tall grass searching for his next meal. His powerful hind legs form the handle of the jug. The grasshopper jug can also be found with advertising for Absinthe Oxygenee on the base, a very rare jug.
