American Toby Jug Museum 

Girl Punk toby jug version 2 produced by Maria Alvarez Echenique of London, England, in 2019 as a unique piece of artwork in The Subcultures of Hackney Series. This Girl Punk toby jug has a dyed punk yellow Mohican hair style and is holding a mug of beer in her left hand. Hackney is a vibrant multicultural part of inner London, and punk women have played a colorful and active part of the social life of Hackney. Though slightly less common these days, “punk’s picnics” still take place in parks, noisy gigs in pubs and small venues, and sometimes underground squat parties are put on with punk bands as a part of them.
