Gamekeeper toby jug produced in Staffordshire England circa 1890. British Gamekeepers primarily work on large estates especially in the Scottish Highlands where they most commonly manage red deer pheasant grouse and partridge. This seated Gamekeeper is holding a pitcher and cup for a drink during his well deserved break. He has a rifle on his left hip and bags on his right hip.
