Gamekeeper and Poacher teapot - Royal Doulton 2002

Gamekeeper and Poacher two-sided teapot modeled by Anthony Cartlidge and produced by Royal Doulton of Burslem, England, in a 2002 limited edition of 1,500. A gamekeeper is a person who looks after an area of countryside to make sure there is enough game for hunting and fish for angling. Typically, the gamekeeper is employed by a landowner to prevent poaching on his lands, control unwelcome predators, and monitor the health of the wildlife. This gamekeeper is close after a poacher who has depleted his stock of fish. A fence with Private written on it forms the handle of the teapot while some cattails form the spout.
