Frog majolica umbrella stand produced by Vallauris of Vallauris, France, circa 1900. Sitting on his hind legs on his favorite lily pad next to the pond, this frog is singly loudly for all around him the hear. He has his hands folded in front of him to add emphasis to the high notes. This umbrella stand was designed by Delphin Massier.
