Frog on Lily Pad small majolica toby jug produced by Edward Steele circa 1885. This jug depicts a happy frog sitting on a lily pad croaking aloud to attract a mate. Note the spots on teh belly of this small jug. This jug was made in six sizes ranging from 5" tall to 14" tall. The 12" and 14" tall pitchers are rare.
