Frankenstein face pot produced in a gold colorway by Kevin Francis Ceramics of Stoke-on-Trent, England, in a 2002 limited edition. "Frankenstein" is an 1818 novel written by English author Mary Shelley. Frankenstein tells the story of Victor Frankenstein, a young scientist who creates a sapient creature in an unorthodox scientific experiment. Intelligent and articulate, the Creature relates his first days of life, living alone in the wilderness. He found that people were afraid of him and hated him due to his appearance, which led him to fear and hide from them. While living in an abandoned structure connected to a cottage, he grew fond of the poor family living there and discreetly collected firewood for them, cleared snow away from their path, and performed other tasks to help them. Showing this gentle side, Frankenstein is holding a bunny and saying "I'm coming to get you!".
