Flora Fuchsia The Florist toby jug - Royal Doulton 1987 - 1991

Flora Fuchsia The Florist 3/4 body toby jug designed by William K. Harper and produced by Royal Doulton of Burslem, England, from 1987 to 1991. Flora fell in love with nature and especially flowers at an early age and from a girlish hobby took to serious study at the Doultonville Horticultural College where she has become well known for her flower arrangements and paintings. Her work is much in demand and Alderman Mace has commissioned Flora to decorate the reception rooms of the Town Hall with large floral displays on pedestals for the coming Centenary celebrations that will celebrate Doultonville's long history. Flora owns a spacious flower shop by the Roman Wall, where she caters for weddings and other social events. She also holds flower-arranging classes in the Community Center. This is one of twenty-five Doultonville toby jugs.
