Farmer's Wife toby jug produced by Lonkey Moor Pottery of Cornwall, England, circa 1960. The Farmer's Wife is the hardworking partner behind the success of every farmer. In addition to tending to the house, fixing meals, managing the finances, and raising the children, she also helps her husband around the farm as needed. Here she is, sitting on a barrel with a mug of ale in her right hand and taking a well deserved rest.
