Erwin Rommel character jug - Royal Doulton 2008

Erwin Rommel character jug designed by Caroline Dadd and modeled by Robert I. Tabbenor, and produced by Royal Doulton of Burslem, England, in a 2008 limited edition of 100 for UK International Ceramics. Johannes Erwin Eugen Rommel (1891-1944) was a highly decorated German office in World War I, and German field marshal during World War II. Popularly known as the Desert Fox, he served in the Wehrmacht (armed forces) of Nazi Germany, as well as serving in the Reichswehr of the Weimar Republic, and the army of Imperial Germany. An Iron Cross medal and pair of binoculars on a military banner form the handle of the jug. A prototype colorway with silver highlights is known.
