Elvis toby jug - Bairstow Manor Pottery circa 2015

Elvis 3/4 body toby jug produced by Bairstow Manor Pottery of Hanley, England, circa 2015 in a limited edition of 1,000. Elvis Aaron Presley (1935-1977) was an American singer and actor. Dubbed the "King of Rock and Roll", he is regarded as one of the most significant cultural figures of the 20th century. His energized interpretations of songs and sexually provocative performance style, combined with a singularly potent mix of influences across color lines during a transformative era in race relations, led him to both great success and initial controversy. This toby jug is a part of the Legends of Rock & Roll Series and depicts a young Elvis singing with a microphone in his right hand raised to his mouth. Note the pair of eighth notes that form the handle of the jug. The jug was modeled by Ray Noble.
