Dutch Woman faience toby jug produced by Desvres circa 1890. The Dutch Woman is wearing common Dutch clothing of the day including her wooden shoes. She is sitting on a stump with a tree branch forming the handle. She is one of a pair with the Dutch Man and it is uncommon to find them decorated as a matched pair. She is marked with the initials RS.
