Doctor Who #6 character jug produced by Aidee International of Devon, England, in a 1973 limited edition of 750. "Doctor Who" is a British science fiction television series broadcast by the BBC since 1963. The series depicts the adventures of a Time Lord called the Doctor, an extraterrestrial being who appears to be human and explores the universe in a time-travelling space ship called the TARDIS. With various companions, the Doctor combats foes, works to save civilizations, and helps people in need. Played by Colin Baker, Doctor Who #6 was never shy of singing his own praises, the bombastic Sixth Doctor embraced his life of adventure with relish. He enjoyed being the center of attention and would aggressively confront injustice and oppose evil wherever he encountered it.
