Cross-legged faience Toby jug produced by Desvres circa 1900. The Cross-legged Toby is an Ordinary Toby who has his left leg crossed over his right leg and is holding his jug of ale in front of him with both hands. The Cross-legged Toby is sitting on a stump with a tree branch forming the handle. He is marked with the initials JF.
