Consult Steve figurine produced by Royal Doulton of Burslem, England, in 1923 commissioned by Beadle, Wettern and Bristowe, a road building firm. Consult Steve was designed in the image of a yardman, or road worker, standing beside a pile of coal and holding his shovel. The front of the figurine says "Mend Your Ways And Consult Steve" while the three sides list the company's name, Beadle, Wettern and Bristowe.
