American Toby Jug Museum 

Chamber Maid toby jug produced by W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik of Bavaria, Germany, circa 1975. A chamber maid is a maid who cleans bedrooms and bathrooms, perhaps in a private home or a hotel. Hundreds of years ago she would have cleaned for the nobles of a castle. She is holding a broom in her right hand. Her long braid forms the handle of the jug.
