Bones face pot white - Kevin Francis circa 2006

Bones face pot produced in a white colorway by Kevin Francis Ceramics of Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 2006. Animated skeletons are eerily symbolic reminders of the otherworld, death, and human mortality. Bones is holding a package for some fortunate, or unfortunate, mortal. Bones' face pot quote, "It's life Jim, but not as we know it", is a line from the original "Star Trek" TV series where Spock observes an unknown lifeform and makes this report to Captain Kirk. The same statement is true of animated skeletons and other undead creatures.
