Big Boy character jug - Applause 1990

Big Boy character jug produced in Korea by Applause of Woodland Hills, California, in 1990. Alphonse "Big Boy" Caprice, a fictional analog for Al Capone, is a fictional gangster in the comic strip Dick Tracy, created by Chester Gould, and introduced on October 11, 1931. He was the first in a long line of colorful Dick Tracy villains. In that self-contained story, Tracy, already a member of the police department's detective bureau, leads a raid on Big Boy's nightclub in order to arrest the mobster, and is able to thwart Big Boy's escape. Played by Al Pacino as depicted in this jug, Big Boy was the featured villain in the 1990 film, Dick Tracy, paired with Breathless Mahoney who is played by Madonna.
