Barrister majolica extra large sized toby jug in dark brown jacket produced by George Jones and Sons circa 1900. The barrister is an English lawyer who serves at higher levels of court typically specializing in advocacy and litigation. He is considered a legal scholar. This is a second version of Jones' Barrister toby jug with the same overall design. This version depicts the Barrister with his hands behind his back and wearing a belt.
