Baby inkwell stoneware - Royal Doulton circa 1910

Baby stoneware inkwell modeled by Harry Simeon and produced by Royal Doulton of Lambeth, England, circa 1910. This baby is dressed in the typical gown of the Victorian era with its fancy lace bib. The baby's head is hinged and lifts back to reveal the ink reservoir. The English registration number 537199 on the bottom dates the design to 1909.
