Arquebusier majolica medium size toby jug produced by Faiencerie St. Germain circa 1920. The Arquebusier was a 16th century foot soldier who wielded an arquebus which was a low velocity single shot rifle. He was an incredible fighting force in his day. This jug is modeled after the Arquebusier toby jug produced by Sarreguemines.
