Standing Toby salt glazed stoneware toby jug produced in England circa 1880. This Standing Toby is a drunken sot wearing the traditional everyday garb of the late 1700s including the long frock coat, buttoned vest, and tricorn hat. He is has both hands placed on his ample belly. A twisted tree branch forms the handle of the jug.
