Squat Toby jug produced by Maling Pottery of Newcastle upon Tyne England circa 1910. The Squat Toby jug is sitting on floor with his left leg on the floor and right leg propped up in front of him. He is holding a pitcher in his right hand and glass in his left. This jug is marked Coronet England which was a mark used by American importer and retailer George Borgfeldt. Maling produced the Squat Toby for Borgfeldt for the US market.
