Sir Roger Tichborne toby jug produced in majolica finish in Staffordshire England circa 1890. Roger Tichborne was a missing English heir. When an Australian claiming to be the heir arrived a lengthy court case determined he was an imposter. The Magna Charta Association carried on the cause for the claimant. The jug features Roger Tichborne with a lion body and an umbrella for the handle holding a shield saying "Magna Charta Defended."
