Sargent Squat teapot produced by Staffordshire Fine Ceramics of Tunstall, England, circa 1975. Sargent Squat is the primary local police officer of his village.
His duties include protecting life and property through the enforcement of laws and regulations, proactively patrolling assigned areas, responding to calls for police service, conducting preliminary & follow-up criminal and traffic investigations, preparing written reports and field notes of investigations and patrol activities, arresting and processing criminals, and testifying in court. Sargent Squat is frantically blowing a whistle, which forms the spout of the teapot.
