Romeo and Juliet pitcher designed by Albert Hallam and Arthur Gredington, and produced by Beswick of Longton, England, circa 1955. "Romeo and Juliet" is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare about the romance between two Italian youths from feuding families. It was among Shakespeare's most popular plays during his lifetime and one of his most frequently performed. The pitcher features scenes from Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet". The front shows a raised Romeo and Juliet saying farewell to each other. The other side of the pitcher depicts a servant with bonnet and long apron looking out the window.
