Ordinary Toby produced by Bairstow Manor Pottery of Hanley, England, circa 1988. The Ordinary Toby is the original toby jug featuring a seated common man of the time wearing 18th century clothing and a tricorn hat. This Toby is holding a full pitcher of ale in his lap with both hands. This jug was produced from moulds of P. E. Bairstow's Fancies Fayre Pottery from the 1930s. It is known in three sizes with this being the largest.
