Lizard Monk large majolica toby jug produced by Mafra of Portugal circa 1920. Wearing his monks robe and rope belt, this pious lizard has his hands clasped in prayer are he lifts his head to the Lord. His tail curls out from beneath his robe to form the handle of the jug.
