King Charles III prototype character jug designed by Anthony Cartlidge and produced by Bairstow Manor Pottery of Hanley, England, in 2023. Charles III, born Charles Philip Arthur George (1948- ) is King of the United Kingdom and the 14 other Commonwealth realms. As prince, he was the longest-serving heir apparent and Prince of Wales. At the age of 73, he became the oldest person to accede to the British throne upon the death of his mother, Elizabeth II, in September of 2022. The Royal scepter forms the handle of this jug.
