King Charles III handle-less character jug produced by Paul Rayner of Whanganui, New Zealand, in 2023. Charles III, born Charles Philip Arthur George (1948- ) is King of the United Kingdom and the 14 other Commonwealth realms. As prince, he was the longest-serving heir apparent and Prince of Wales. At the age of 73, he became the oldest person to accede to the British throne upon the death of his mother, Elizabeth II, in September of 2022.
