Gurgling Fish toby jug majolica - Gustavsburg circa 1930

Gurgling Fish majolica toby jug produced by Gustavsburg Porcelain Factory of Gustavsburg, Sweden, circa 1930. This is called a Gurgling Fish jug because of the gurgling sound that is made when water is poured from the jug. The fish's tail curls up to form the handle of the jug. This Gurgling Fish jug is similar in design to the one produced by Saint-Amand Hamages.
