Gaucho toby jug - Rodo Padilla circa 2000

Gaucho toby jug produced by Rodo Padilla of Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico, circa 2000. A gaucho is a skilled horseman, the cowboy of the South American pampas. The figure of the gaucho is a folk symbol of Argentina, Uruguay, Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil, and the south of Chilean Patagonia. This gaucho is a promotional jug for the Riviera Maya, a stretch of Caribbean coastline on Mexico’s northeastern Yucatán Peninsula.
It's known for its numerous all-inclusive resorts, such as those in the town of Playa del Carmen, and its long beaches.
