Ganusha face pot trial colorway - Kevin Francis 2007

Ganusha face pot produced by Kevin Francis Ceramics of Stoke-on-Trent, England, in a 2007 trial colorway. Ganesha, also spelled Ganusha, is one of the best-known and most worshipped deities in the Hindu pantheon. Although Ganusha has many attributes, he is readily identified by his elephant head. He is widely revered as the remover of obstacles and thought to bring good luck; the patron of arts and sciences; and the deva of intellect and wisdom. As the god of beginnings, he is honored at the start of rites and ceremonies. Ganusha's face pot quote, "An eye for an eye ends up making the whole world blind." was said by Mahatma Gandhi, meaning if we keep punishing those we deem cruel, then we're no better than they are.
