Elephant face pot UK - Kevin Francis 2012

Elephant face pot produced in a UK flag colorway by Kevin Francis Ceramics of Stoke-on-Trent, England, in 2012. Elephants are the largest existing land animals. Distinctive features of elephants include a long proboscis called a trunk, tusks, large ear flaps, pillar-like legs, and tough but sensitive skin. The trunk is used for breathing and is prehensile, bringing food and water to the mouth, and grasping objects. Tusks, which are derived from the incisor teeth, serve both as weapons and as tools for moving objects and digging. The large ear flaps assist in maintaining a constant body temperature as well as in communication. Said by Abraham Lincoln, this face pot's quote is "When you have an elephant by his tail and he is trying to run away, it's best to let him run."
