Cross-legged Toby jug - Quimper circa 1880

Cross-legged Toby jug produced in a faience finish by Quimper of Quimper, France, circa 1880. Sitting on a basket not only are this Toby's legs crossed but his arms are too. In his right hand is a bag of snuff. The stylized HB mark on the bottom was used by the pottery between 1860 and 1889.
