Chimera majolica toby jug produced in France circa 1900. The Chimera is a legendary monstrous fire-breathing hybrid creature comprised of parts of multiple animals. This Chimera's horns sweep back to form the handle of the pitcher and his tail is curled up behind him. Note the gilding on his pointed teeth.
