The barrister is an English lawyer who serves at higher levels of court typically specializing in advocacy and litigation. He is considered a legal scholar. This is a second version of Jones' Barrister toby jug with the same overall design. This version depicts the Barrister with his hands behind his back and wearing a belt. There is a decorative mask on the handle. Photos are courtesy of MIS Karmason Library and Skinner Auctions.
