Jack of Hearts stoneware ash tray modeled by Harry Simeon and produced by Royal Doulton of Lambeth, England, between 1924 and 1929.  The Jack of Hearts is a court card that is deeply associated with love.  Mirroring the Knight of Cups in tarot, which represents a knight in shining armor, the Jack of Hearts connotes a young man who is head over heels for someone.  The card has an innocence to it, suggesting puppy love.  Model number 8637 and standing 4" tall, the Jack of Hearts is part of a set along with the King of Clubs, Queen of Spades and Queen of Diamonds.
